Choosing Your Kit

Select the kit based on your garage door width and garage type. The 9-foot kit is commonly used for single car garage doors up to 9 feet wide, while the 18-foot kit is designed for double car garage doors between 9 feet and 18 feet wide. If your garage door is not the exact size of the kit, the seal and retainer can be cut down to fit the required width.

The aluminum retainer can be cut with a handsaw, and the Xcluder seal portion can be cut with household scissors. Select the retainer that matches your garage door thickness. Available retainer sizes include 1-3/8 inch, 1-3/4 inch, and 2 inch.
