Installation

Remove the existing side and top weather stripping before installing the new DuraSeal using the included color-matched molding nails. Because the seal ships coiled, allow it to relax before installation by uncoiling it on a flat surface. If the material is cold, allow it to warm to room temperature first, place weights along its length, and allow approximately 24 hours for it to flatten. Installation is easiest when the material temperature is above 50°F, with 60°F or warmer providing the best handling.
