Action Direct's Universal Garage Door Seal for Wayne Dalton Doors was created in response to customer requests for a new kit that could be used on 3/4” thick and 1” thick doors, and we delivered! This kit can also be installed on the Wayne Dalton Foamcore Door, the Overhead Door 297 Series, and similar models. Action's exclusive Wayne Dalton bottom seal kit will conform to uneven surfaces for reliable protection against harsh weather.

Our Wayne Dalton Garage Door Seal kits contain the T-end vinyl weather seal, an L-shaped aluminum retainer that will fit the seal, and self-tapping mounting screws to make for an easy installation. Our kits are available in two lengths (9' and 18') and are intended for 3/4"-1” thick doors, though they can be used with some thicker doors too.

9' Kit (fits doors up to 9' wide — can be cut down to size)

(1) 9' Roll of V1000-GR-W vinyl seal
A1015-010-W L-shaped aluminum retainer (comes in two (2) 4'6" sections)
(10) 10020-00-H-EA self-tapping mounting screws

18' Kit (fits doors up to 18' wide — can be cut down to size)

(1) 18' Roll of V1000-GR-W vinyl seal

Choosing Your Kit:

Select your garage door width. Choose the 9' kit for doors 9' and below or the 18' kit for doors between 9'-18' wide. If your door is not exactly the size of Action's kits, your kit can easily be cut down to the size you need. Cut the retainer with a handsaw and the seal portion with household scissors. Then select your garage door thickness. This kit is designed for 1” thick garage doors, but can also be used with 3/4" thick doors as well as doors thicker than 1”.

Installation:

Installation is easy. Remove the existing seal and retainer from your garage, install the new retainer, and then pull the seal through to finish.
