About Our Cut-Down Kit

To reduce shipping costs and make installation easier, the aluminum retainer is supplied in four 4'6" sections. Once installed end-to-end, the sectional retainer performs the same as a one-piece retainer while being easier to ship, transport, and handle.

This kit is designed for garage doors 1-5/8" thick and up to 18' wide.

Installation

Remove the existing bottom seal and retainer, install the new aluminum retainer using the supplied sheet metal screws, then slide the vinyl seal into the 1/4" T-end track.
