Oversized Extra Thick Garage Door Bottom Seal Replacement Kit

If you have a notably rough or uneven garage floor, Action Direct's oversized garage door seal kit will get you the protection you need! The extra-large vinyl seal has an astragal pattern and will seal gaps up to 2.5 inches between the garage floor and the door bottom. The durable vinyl flexes even at cold temperatures to prevent extreme weather, pests, air infiltration, dirt, leaves, and more from entering a garage or other building. It’s a perfect choice for sloped floors and doors that have large side gaps when closed.

Action Direct's Oversized Extra Thick Garage Door Bottom Weather Seal Replacement Kit contains the vinyl seal, a matching retainer and mounting screws so you or an installer can easily install this seal to any garage door or similar application. Kits are available in two lengths (9' and 18') and three thickness options (for 1-3/8", 1-3/4" or 2" wide garage doors) for your convenience.

Choosing Your Kit:

• Select your garage door width. Choose the 9' kit for doors 9' and below or the 18' kit for doors between 9'-18' wide. If your door is not exactly the size of our kits, the kit can easily be cut down to the size you need. The retainer can be cut with a handsaw and the seal portion can be cut with household scissors.
• Select your garage door thickness. We offer three different thicknesses of retainers: 1-3/8", 1-3/4" and 2". See the diagram below for measurements.

Installation:

Installation is straightforward. Simply remove the existing seal and retainer from your garage, install the new retainer and then pull the seal through to complete the installation.
