The Model 655202 Pneumatic Sensing Edge Kit is a complete safety solution for commercial and industrial overhead doors. Designed to help protect pedestrians, vehicles, and equipment, this kit detects contact at the bottom edge of the door and signals the operator to stop or reverse door movement.

This kit includes a 14-foot pneumatic sensing edge, a 2-wire take-up reel that extends to 20 feet, 14 feet of air hose, and an exterior air switch. It is suitable for a wide range of commercial door operator systems and control wiring types.

Safety & Functionality

A sensing edge is an important safety device that helps reduce the risk of injury or damage by responding when an object or person contacts the bottom edge of a closing door.

Standard 2-Wire Edge

• Reverses the door when contact is made with an obstruction during closing
• Compatible with operator control wiring types: B2, C2, S2, T, T1, and TS

Failsafe Self-Monitoring Edge

• Requires 3-wire or 4-wire connections
• Reverses the door on contact and prevents operation if the edge is disconnected or not functioning properly
• Requires F2 control wiring or a CPS II option board

Infrared Link-Edge

• Provides failsafe protection using standard 2-wire control wiring
• Compatible with B2, C2, S2, T, T1, and TS wiring types
