The EMX VMD202-100 Vehicle Motion Detector is a high-performance single-piece motion sensor designed for discreet, dependable vehicle detection. With its probe and electronics housed in a slim, water-tight design, it’s perfect for burying next to a driveway or roadway for security, access control, or automation applications.

Featuring a 100-foot lead for versatile placement, this detector delivers up to a 12-foot detection range depending on vehicle size and speed. It supports a broad range of power inputs (9–41VDC or 6–29VAC) and is solar-friendly thanks to its ultra-low 250uA standby current. For off-grid installations, it can run for up to six months on a single 9V battery. The pre-wired harness and non-volatile memory ensure fast installation and reliable operation, even after power loss.
