The EMX BPE-50 is a thru-beam photoeye safety sensor designed for gate and garage door applications where flexible transmitter power and positioning are required. Flexible Battery-Powered Installation

The BPE-50 transmitter can operate from two 3.6V AA lithium batteries, eliminating the need for a dedicated wired power connection at the transmitter location. A power-save option helps conserve battery energy, with the included batteries providing an expected service life of approximately two years under normal operating conditions.

Adjustable Safety Beam Alignment

The transmitter can be adjusted up to 90 degrees to the left or right, providing additional flexibility when positioning and aligning the photoeye across a gate or garage door opening. With a detection range of up to 50 ft. (15 m), the BPE-50 is suited for a variety of access-control installations.

Durable IP66 Housing
