Clopay EZ-Set Torsion Kit

The EZ-Set torsion spring conversion kit is designed to simplify the installation and maintenance of torsion spring systems on residential garage doors. Developed for do-it-yourself installation, this system allows torsion springs to be wound at the ends rather than at the center, helping reduce complexity during setup and future service.

This kit is suitable for converting extension spring systems to torsion springs, replacing an existing torsion assembly, or installing a torsion system on a new overhead garage door. It is compatible with single-car and double-car garage doors, with configurations available for one or two spring setups, including low headroom applications.

The EZ-Set system includes all required hardware components to install a complete torsion assembly, excluding the left and right torsion springs. Components are engineered to work together for proper cable alignment, spring winding, and shaft support, supporting long-term reliability and easier upkeep.
