The BEA SuperScan II 10SSTII42 is an active infrared door-mounted presence detection sensor that uses triangulation technology to detect pedestrians while minimizing false detections caused by floor or environmental conditions. This versatile sensor is designed for automatic swinging, revolving, folding, and low-energy doors and meets ANSI 156.10 standards when paired with the BEA Bodyguard overhead presence sensor.
The 10SSTII42 includes one master module and one slave module in a 42-inch housing and can be daisy-chained with up to nine slave modules for wider door applications. Each detection zone can be independently angled to avoid unwanted detection of guide rails or walls. Suggested use for a 44" door leaf.
