SuperScan II 10SSTII40 Active Infrared Safety Sensor by BEA

The BEA SuperScan II 10SSTII40 is a door-mounted active infrared presence sensor that uses triangulation to detect pedestrians accurately, minimizing false detections from varying floor and environmental conditions. Designed for use with automatic swinging, revolving, folding, and low-energy doors, it delivers reliable and safe detection.

This sensor includes one master module and one slave module in a 40-inch housing. Its modular design allows daisy-chaining with up to nine slave modules, making it suitable for both narrow and wide doors. Each detection zone can be independently angled to prevent unwanted activation from guide rails or walls. When paired with the BEA Bodyguard overhead presence sensor, it meets ANSI 156.10 standards for swing doors. Suggested use for a 42" door leaf.
