SuperScan I Active Infrared Sensor BEA 10SSI40

The BEA SuperScan I 10SSTI40 is a door-mounted active infrared presence sensor that uses triangulation technology to detect pedestrians while minimizing false detections from floor or environmental conditions. Designed for use on automatic swinging, revolving, folding, and low-energy doors, it provides reliable detection and enhanced safety.

This sensor includes one master module in a 40-inch housing and can be daisy-chained with up to nine slave modules for wider doors. Each detection zone can be angled independently to avoid false triggers from guide rails or walls. When paired with the BEA Bodyguard overhead sensor, it meets ANSI 156.10 standards for swing doors. Suggested use for a 42" door leaf.
