TorqueMaster PLUS Conversion Hardware Kit For Garage Doors

The Torque Master PLUS Conversion Kit is designed to upgrade older Torque Master systems to the improved Torque Master PLUS configuration. This kit replaces phased-out components with updated hardware engineered for improved durability, fitment, and long-term reliability.

The Torque Master PLUS system features springs manufactured with higher-quality materials and a redesigned hexagon-shaped winding end. Unlike older spline-style spring ends that were prone to stripping, the hex-shaped design provides a tighter interface with winding components, reducing wear and minimizing premature failure.

This conversion kit is intended only for use with Wayne Dalton Torque Master PLUS springs. It is not compatible with original Torque Master I springs or discontinued kits. Doors not currently equipped with Torque Master PLUS springs must be upgraded before installing this conversion kit.

Correct selection requires knowledge of both the garage door track radius and track style. Track radius is typically measured at the curved transition between the vertical and horizontal track and is most commonly 12 or 15 inches. Track style is identified visually as either Quick Install or Fully Adjustable Track, based on the shape and mounting method of the flag angle.
