Unlike standard garage door bottom seals, the X2 roll-up door system uses a specialized dual-retainer configuration that helps improve sealing performance on roll-up and rolling steel doors where floor gaps, corrugation, and irregular surfaces are common.

Important Compatibility Information

This kit is specifically designed for corrugated roll-up doors and rolling steel doors only. It is not compatible with sectional overhead garage doors. Kit Components

Dual-Seal Roll-Up Door Protection

The primary Xcluder garage door seal creates a rodent-resistant barrier at the base of the door using reinforced rubber combined with stainless steel mesh and Xcluder fill fabric. This helps prevent mice and rats from chewing through vulnerable gaps beneath roll-up doors.

The additional 3-inch interior brush seal helps close smaller gaps that may remain due to corrugated door profiles, uneven concrete, textured surfaces, or slight floor variations. Together, the two seals create a more complete garage door rodent guard system compared to traditional single-seal products.

Installation Overview

Remove the existing bottom seal and retainer from the roll-up door, then install the X2 aluminum retainers along the bottom edge of the door. Slide the Xcluder rodent proof bottom seal and the 3-inch brush seal into the retainer channels, then trim components as needed for the proper fit.

The brush seal is positioned on the interior-facing side of the door to help improve sealing performance against uneven floors and corrugated door profiles.
