Installation Notes

The JR-RD chain hoist is designed for straightforward installation. Shaft-mounted units attach directly to the door shaft, aligning the 9-tooth sprocket with the door-mounted sprocket and securing with set screws, collars, and keys. A roller chain connects the sprockets using the provided connector link, and an optional wall bracket can be added to reduce swing.

For all installations, the hand chain loops around the pocket wheel and should be adjusted to hang approximately 12" from the floor. The included chain keeper helps keep the chain clear of the opening. Sprocket spacing is 3.897" (hole-to-hole) on a 4.5" bolt circle, with bushings positioned on a 120° arc.
