Linear MegaCode MDT-4B 5-Channel Block Coded Visor Transmitter

The Linear MDT-4B is a five-channel block coded visor transmitter designed for use with Linear access control receivers and controllers. Operating at 318 MHz, this transmitter uses MegaCode technology and is factory programmed to a specific facility code and serial number range to support controlled, multi-user access environments.

Four primary buttons on the front of the transmitter activate channels one through four, while a fifth “extra” channel is triggered using a discreet top-mounted button. A removable top button cover is included, allowing the fifth channel to be concealed when not required.

This transmitter is block coded and pre-programmed at the factory. Each unit is assigned a unique code from over one million possible combinations, and the receiver must learn each individual transmitter. This design significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized duplication or system access through reprogramming.

Each unit includes a visor clip for in-vehicle mounting and is powered by two CR2032 lithium batteries with an estimated five-year service life. A high-visibility LED provides clear operational feedback during transmission.

The MDT-4B is sold in lots of 10 and requires the facility code and serial number range to be specified at the time of order to ensure proper factory programming.
