LiftMaster External Antenna

The LiftMaster EXT-ANT External Antenna Kit is a genuine OEM solution designed to improve signal reception for LiftMaster commercial garage door operators. This antenna kit is required when installing a coaxial antenna on LiftMaster logic boards, specifically those found in Logic 4 and Logic 5 commercial operators.

Unlike standard coaxial antenna kits, the EXT-ANT includes a specialized J-type adapter and an F-type antenna engineered to interface directly with LiftMaster operator boards. The J-type adapter locks securely into the logic board, while the external antenna enhances signal strength—especially in metal buildings or interference-prone environments.

Compatibility

Installation Instructions

1. Disconnect power from the operator.
2. Remove the electrical box cover.
3. Connect the J-type coaxial adapter to the “AUX ANT” port on the logic board.
4. Route the cable through the control box and secure with the included washer and nut.
5. Attach the external F-type antenna to the outside connector.
6. Cut the internal purple antenna wire from the logic board (if present).
7. Reassemble, restore power, and test system operation.
