LiftMaster CPS Safety Eyes

The LiftMaster CPS is an emitter-receiver type photo-electric control designed for commercial and industrial door applications. This commercial protector system kit enables monitored photo eyes to operate with a non-monitored door operator using the included interface module.

The CPS kit connects CPS-U monitored photo eyes to a non-monitored operator through the included CPICARD interface. The monitoring function extends only from the photo eyes or edge device to the interface module itself. This configuration does not qualify as a fully monitored safety protection system at the operator level. An infrared signal beam is projected across the vehicle path. When the beam is interrupted, the system sends a signal to open the door. The door will open only after the vehicle passes through the infrared beam.

Compatibility

Operates on 24VAC power. For applications using Solid State Logic 3 or Medium-Duty Logic Control Board units, use the CPS-L model instead. Compatible with LiftMaster operators for OPEN-only functionality.
