The LiftMaster 41D794 Motor with Positioning Sensor is a direct replacement for LiftMaster Model 3850 garage door openers. Designed to fit within the ceiling-mount housing of the operator, this 3/4 horsepower DC motor offers quiet, reliable performance and is compatible with Chamberlain Group backup battery systems. When paired with a backup battery, it can power up to 40 cycles within a 24-hour period during an outage.
Built with a standard belt drive system, the motor runs smoothly and quietly, while its enclosed gear case provides continuous lubrication for extended life. The integrated positioning sensor enhances safety by stopping and reversing the door if something crosses its path during operation. For added security, the motor prevents manual opening when the door is closed, unless the power is out.
