Designed for professional installations and service jobs, these Extension Springs provide a reliable counterbalance system for standard 8-foot residential overhead doors. Engineered to reduce operator strain, enhance door safety, and extend the life of the opener.

Each spring is mounted with a heavy-duty S-Hook to the stationary ceiling bracket, with the opposite end secured to a safety cable and sheave pulley system. During door operation, the springs extend under load as the door descends and retract as the door ascends, maintaining controlled lift assistance. Initial spring tension provides reliable hold for doors in the open position.

Important: Springs are sold individually. For proper balance and safe operation, matched pairs must always be installed per DASMA standards.
