The BEA 10LO21P Lock-Out Module is a micro-processed control unit designed for swing door applications using the BEA Bodyguard overhead presence sensor as part of the complete PARALLAX System. This intelligent module locks out header-mounted safety sensors while the door is closing by interpreting the motor voltage to determine the door’s position. It then communicates this position data to the Bodyguard or DK12 sensors via data lines to ensure proper coordination during the door cycle.
The 10LO21P also features an optional safety beam input that can override the inhibit signal during closing. If the safety beam path is blocked while the door is closing, the module cancels the inhibit signal and sends a safety command to the door control, preventing unintended contact and enhancing safety.
