Q: How do I create an account on ShopActionDirect.com?

Q: Will my North Shore Commercial Door account work on ShopActionDirect.com?
A: No, your North Shore Commercial Door account does not automatically transfer. You’ll need to create a new account on ShopActionDirect.com.
Q: Can I view past orders from North Shore Commercial Door?
A: Not directly on Action Direct. We recommend downloading any necessary North Shore Commercial Door order history before transitioning, or reaching out to our Customer Service team to request et your order history.
Q: How do I know that you received my order?
A: You will receive confirmation via the email address you provide with your order number. If you have any questions, you are always welcome to contact our friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Q: Can I track my order online?
A: Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive another email that will provide you with a tracking number.
Q: When will my items arrive?
A: Many items will be ready for shipment the next business day. If this fast turn-around is offered for the item you want, it will be stated on the product page. In addition to standard shipping by U.S. Postal Service or UPS delivery services, we also offer next-day and second-day shipping. Shipping costs are based on weight, method and destination zone. Please contact our staff with any shipping questions.
Q: Can I change or cancel my order?
A: You can change or cancel your order by calling our team at 800-783-6112 during business hours. Because it's our goal to offer fast shipping, your item might already have left our warehouse when you call. If that is the case, see our Returns Policy page.
Q: What if I forgot my password or need to reset it?
A: Use the “Forgot Password?” link on the login page to receive a password reset email.
Q: How do I apply a coupon/promo code to my order?
A: Enter your coupon/promo code during checkout in the “Coupon/Gift Certificate” field and click “Apply.” If the coupon code is valid, you will see the discount applied to your shopping cart.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Q: Are there order minimums or quantity limits?
A: No minimums! Whether you need one part or one hundred, we’ve got you covered. If you are a professional garage door installer/technician, and have a need for large volume orders – consider registering for a B2B dealer account with Action Industries.
Q: Do you offer tax-exempt purchasing for businesses or organizations?
A: Yes, tax-exempt purchasing is available. Contact our customer service team to learn how to submit your tax exemption documentation.
Shipping & Delivery
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping service.
Q: Do you offer free shipping?
A: We periodically offer free shipping promotions. Stay subscribed to our weekly emails to learn about the next free shipping offer.
Q: How long will it take for my order to ship?
A: Most orders for our stocked inventory ship within 1–2 business days. Expedited processing is available, with the exception for orders placed Friday afternoon through Sunday. Orders that require product configuration from the manufacturer typically take longer to produce and ship.
Q: Can I track my shipment?
A: Yes! You’ll receive a tracking number via email once your order ships.
Q: Do you offer expedited or same-day shipping?
A: Expedited shipping is available at checkout. Same-day options depend on product availability and order time.
Q: Where do you ship to?
A: We ship internationally. Before you place your order, you can use our shipping calculator to determine your cost by choosing from our list of individual U.S. states and other countries.
Q: Where do you ship from?
A: We ship from our parts distribution center based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Q: Do you charge sales tax?
A: Sales tax will be applied to orders being delivered to states with an applicable sales tax.
Q: When will my card be charged?
A: Your card will be charged when you place the order.
Q: Do you ship and process orders on the weekend?
A: We do not. Our business hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm EST. If an order is placed outside of these hours it will not be processed until the next business day.
Q: Do you offer warehouse pickup?
A: We only offer warehouse pick-up for our registered B2B customers, at one of our 7 distribution centers located in the United States.
Returns & Exchanges
Q: What is your return policy?
A: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unused and in original packaging.
Q: How do I return or exchange a product?
A: Please visit our Shipping & Returns page to initiate a return or exchange via the RMA Request Form.
Q: Are there return or restocking fees?
A: All returned orders are subject to a 10% return fee. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. In some cases, a restocking or repacking fee may apply for incomplete returned items.
Q: What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
A: Request a replacement or refund by filling out a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form on our Returns Policy page. We cannot accept any returns without a submitted RMA form. Our staff is always available during regular business hours to answer any questions by phone, email or Live Chat.
Q: What if the part that I ordered doesn't work?
A: Simply return it within 30 days of delivery after filling out a required Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form on our Returns Policy page. You can return almost all items for any reason within 30 days. Please note that custom-made garage door springs cannot be returned because they are made to order.

Q: What’s the difference between EPDM, brush, and vinyl seals?
A: EPDM is durable rubber ideal for extreme weather. Brush seals prevent air and debris. Vinyl is cost-effective for light-duty use.

A: Yes, many of our weather seals are proudly made and assembled in the USA, by Action Industries.
