Whether it's decorative hardware or Signature or Heritage window overlays, CHA makes it easy to install them in minutes!
Check Garage Door Compatibility
Before purchasing from Coach House Accents, it’s important to confirm that the window overlays can fit on your garage door. To measure the fit prior to installation, see the video below or continue reading.
Coach House Accent’s window overlays are designed to cover the panels of a garage door (if you have any). If your door is flat, you’re good to install! If you have a long or short design, be sure the length or each panel is at least 45 ¼" long and 16 5/8” tall.
Coach House’s decorative hardware needs to have at least three inches of space between the stamped area and the edge of a garage door for installation, while handles need a minimum of 3” between two panels to install a single handle, and up to 7” to install two.
How Many Kits Do You Need?
Before beginning your project, make sure you have enough accessories for your specific door:
• A single car garage needs: one window kit & hardware kit.
• A 2-car garage needs: two window kits & one hardware kit.
• A 3-car garage needs: three window kits & two hardware kits.
Installation Tips
The materials you will need for the installation is an electric drill, 1/8” drill bit, tape measure, Phillip's head drill bit, small ladder or step stool, pencil or marker, and a level that is optional.
